Roll an Automatic Journal with IFTTT, Drafts, Instagram, and DropboxJournaling is hard to keep up with, but if you want to keep a personal diary of places you've been and things you've done, Cult of Mac has a guide for putting together your own automated system.

We've covered how to automatically archive your life with Evernote and IFTTT before, and this system is very similar. It takes what you do throughout the day?from your Instagram photos to your Foursquare check-ins?and automatically creates a journal for you. The difference is that everything gets outputted in Markdown so it's pretty to look at and you could potentially turn it into a web site. The crux of this system is one of our favorite iOS notes apps, Drafts, but any text editor that allows you append text to a TXT file on Dropbox will do the trick. The end result is a journal that automatically records your data without you having to do much work after the initial setup. Head over to Cult of Mac for the full how-to.
