In celebration of National Healthy Aging Month, The Family of Caring Healthcare System is hosting a number of events for seniors and caregivers. Each September, this national observance is designed to focus attention on the positive aspects of growing older. Here are some event highlights:
September 12 ? Spirit of Women?s ?Get Your Groove Back? will take place at the Ridgewood Public Library on Maple Avenue in Ridgewood. This event is in cooperation with The Valley Hospital. To register, please?call 201-291-6118.
September 25 ? ?Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy & Speech Therapy? is set for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehabililitation Center in Woodcliff Lake. A light dinner will be served. RSVP is required. Please call 201-391-0900.
